Big Changes in the Higher Education Field made by Google’s

The CEO of Alibaba, Jack Ma, had once mentioned that the adapting capability of the educational process is relatively slow when it meets with the fast- changing world. It was still the same old stuff in the classroom even though there are the Internet, AI technology and social media outside the school walls which have reshaped every aspect of the society.

Therefore, not to be outdone, Google decided to take on the higher- education monopoly. Google announced that they were going to begin offering 6 months courses in order to provide skills needed for people to seek jobs that are in- demand. Cost is an incredible $300, thus, what I can say is all about time. A time consuming great project.

As this project also aims to adjust to a post- crisis world, hence, it is actually relatively vital. It’s a 1.9 trillion dollar industry. Imagine if 1% (10 billion dollars) is shaved by Google, apparently, there was no doubt that Google were to succeed in doing that, meanwhile, other companies (competitors) would not stand still anymore and will take notice with it.

In a nutshell, the act of Google can be defined as killing 2 birds with 1 stone. Develop people which are necessary for the industry in the coming years. And, blow higher education wide open which many classes are actually taught online.
